This epic, self-powered, two-wheeled craziness goes for up to 36 hours over every type of terrain in the Triangle region of North Carolina for riders to bag the contents at 13 box check-points and complete quick 30-second to 1-minute HUmanDURO Tasks at brew check-ins.
It is not just a race of endurance and suffering, you must make wise navigation choices utilizing technology, have great time management, and be self-supported. Adventure is not knowing what is going to happen next.
~ Can you make the Last Call Task Check-in Late Fri./Early Sat.? ~ Will you be tempted by beers, food, & comforts along the way? ~ Most likely you will quit. ~ Ride as long as you care to suffer. QR coded Sat. Nav. coordinates link with Google Maps to provide you with knowing only the next location. Nothing tricky, just specific places to get to and occasionally other things to do along the way. You only know the next place you are going, which is more than enough at that particular moment.
Designed for a bicycle rider to make it as far as you can push yourself. After that, simply quit when you can't go any longer. They'll toast to you no matter how far you go. And who knows, you may make it? 2019 Stats: 16 Registered. 13 Showed up. 4 Finished. 9 Dropped.
