Downtown Raleigh’s Outdoor Movie Series returns this Summer to Moore Square! Let the stars guide your family to a free outdoor movie on Sunday nights this summer. Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema are excited to announce the return of Raleigh’s Downtown Movie Series- Moore Movies - a free outdoor summer movie series in the newly renovated Moore Square. Moviegoers of all ages will enjoy fun activities and food for purchase at Moore Square’s onsite restaurant. The activities start at 7pm and the film starts at sundown. Moore Movies continues through August. The movie series will come to a close with sing-a-long showing of Mama Mia. There is no charge for admission to Moore Square. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's first North Carolina location is located in the heart of the growing New Bern Avenue corridor. Alamo Drafthouse Raleigh features a mix of first-run films and curated specialty programming, premium luxury seats with individual tables, and a new twist on its full-service food and drink menu. Alamo Drafthouse Raleigh is also home to VIDEO VORTEX, a video store featuring over 75,000 rare and hard to find VHS and DVDs available to rent for free, as well as a full bar and restaurant space with a large outdoor patio.
