Stop by to visit this vendor, which is a small family farming operation in Raeford, NC. They offer an amazing array of goat cheese and goat milk bath and body products.

Wylde is a Raleigh-based floral design studio and cut flower garden committed to capturing the essence of the seasons through uncommonly beautiful, organically grown flowers and perfectly imperfect arrangements.

Entertainment - Emily Musolino


Emily Musolino is a Durham native who mixes soulful vocals with shredding blues rock guitar riffs. The depth of emotion in her voice is stunning and her songs have a classic sound and lyrics that tell compelling stories. 

Emily has been featured several times on NPR’s the State of Things with Frank Stasio and written up in the News and Observer. She currently fronts the Emily Musolino Band and plays 200+ shows a year, both bandleader and soloist around the world. 


Weekly Recipe - Cucumber-Tomatillo Gazpacho 


Now that we've officially passed the Summer Solstice, it's getting hotter outside. When you're in the mood for a yummy soup but can't fathom the thought of any type of hot food, gazpacho is there for you! This recipe can be made with products straight from our vendors and is a simple weeknight dinner or can be made ahead of time and enjoyed throughout the week. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound cucumbers, halved, seeds removed

  • 1 pound tomatillos, husks removed, rinsed

  • ½ medium onion, thinly sliced, rinsed under cold water

  • ½ poblano chile, seeds removed

  • 1 garlic clove

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup unseasoned rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro, plus leaves for serving

  • Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

RECIPE PREPARATION

  • Blend cucumbers, tomatillos, onion, chile, garlic, oil, vinegar, parsley, and chopped cilantro in a blender until very smooth; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to an airtight container, cover, and chill at least 2 hours.

  • Serve topped with cilantro leaves.

  • Do Ahead: Gazpacho can be made 2 days ahead. Keep chilled.

We're making up for last week by celebrating National Pollinator Week this week!

Apiopolis, a nonprofit urban bee sanctuary in Raleigh will be on site to educate about bees and pollinator actions. 

Stop by the Info Booth to make your own honey-butter with honey from Creekside Farms and bagels from Bold Bagels. 

Trophy Brewing Company will be selling their table saison "Do You Like Jazz" infused with mint, hibiscus and local honey. 

We'll have corn-hole and giant Connect 4 for you to play.
