Fire Escape Maze

This mural can be found on the backside of Death & Taxes on S Salisbury Street. To paint the fire escapes, artist Luke Buchanan made a stencil of corrugated plastic and laid each one out to be evenly spaced. Once he had the framework down, he used chalk with a free hand to sketch the ladders before painting them in. If you look closely, you'll notice a little face peeking out the window at the top representing someone who has to navigate the stairs.
