Twisted Oak, a pop-up Art Shop, coming to 17 E. Martin Street in Downtown Raleigh


RALEIGH, NC (February 24, 2017) – The Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA), in keeping with its mission to attract retailers to downtown, is excited to announce a new pop-up art shop, Twisted Oak, coming to 17 E. Martin Street. The following is on behalf of Twisted Oak:

From the folks who brought you the Capital City Co-Op Painters comes a new and different kind of art shop: Original art, prints, and merchandise from an eclectic group of artists in Raleigh, NC. Members of Twisted Oak include Caitlyn Cary, Skillet Gilmore, Ryan Cummings, Errol Engelbrecht, Ryan Fox, Paul Friedrich, Tim Lee, Rob Logic, and Kevin Peddicord. The store will be located at 17. E. Martin Street, which has hosted several pop-up stores and an art installations over the past 15 months. The Downtown Raleigh Alliance assisted in finding a location for this pop-up opportunity. 

Twisted Oak will be open for business on Wednesday, March 1 just in time to host a First Friday reception on Friday, March 3.
