The Market will launch on Wednesday, June 5 from 4 pm-7 pm in the historic City Market adjacent to Moore Square. City Market will host the Market while Moore Square is under construction. When renovations are complete at Moore Square, the Market will transition to the park each Wednesday from 4 pm-7 pm through October 16, 2019. The Market will feature over 20 vendors along with entertainment, educational programming, and special events.

Market EBT Program

To foster an inclusive shopping experience that welcomes everyone to downtown, the Moore Square Market is proud to accept EBT. Additionally, the Moore Square Market will match the first $10 that each EBT shopper spends each week! Simply purchase EBT tokens at the information booth and spend your dollars like it’s a grocery store. The Moore Square Market Match dollars may be used to buy anything sold at the Moore Square Market, from fresh produce to crafts and more!

The market is run by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance in collaboration with Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. For more information, please contact David Moore at or 919-821-6982.
