Buffy graduated from Framingham State University, 2014 with a BA in Communication Arts concentrating in Visual Communications and minoring in Art Studio and Information Systems. She studied abroad for one semester at the Griffith University, Queensland College of Art, South Bank, Brisbane Australia.

After moving to Raleigh in 2016 she became an NC Triangle area artist and began honing skills with the intent to become a public artist/muralist. Since 2017 she started exhibiting paintings in local galleries, venues, and artist spaces, then explored all things creative via workshops, events, and activities in Raleigh proper, the Raleigh-Durham-RTP Triangle, and the greater Triad area of NC.
