Registration Open Now for the State of Downtown Raleigh: Building a Connected and Collaborative Downtown

RALEIGH, NC (March 8, 2017) – Join the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) on Tuesday, April 25 from 8 am until 10 am at the Raleigh Convention Center for the State of Downtown Raleigh 2017:  Building a Connected and Collaborative Downtown.

This event is the premier gathering for developers, brokers, urban planners, and economic developers to learn more about the changing economic climate of downtown Raleigh.  Each attendee will receive a free copy of the 2017 State of Downtown Raleigh report, which shows the market trends impacting the economy of downtown, including demographics, data and future projections.  For example, downtown Raleigh boasts over 3,600 residential units that have been completed, are under construction or planned since the start of 2015.

A distinguished panel of thought leaders from various asset classes in downtown, moderated by Trish Healy of Hyde Street Closings, will discuss the data found in the report from their own perspectives. Panelists include:

Michael Cunningham - Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Red Hat

Roberta Fox - Assistant Director, Design + Planning, City of Raleigh

John Kane  - CEO, Kane Realty

Van Nolintha - Founder of Bida Manda/Brewery Bhavana

Steve Young - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Duke Energy

Pre-registration is open online now through April 18. The cost is $20 for DRA members and $30 for non-members.
