Take part in CAM to GO's Virtual Creation Station + Gallery by creating your own artwork at home inspired by exhibitions currently on view at CAM. Follow CAM on Instagram to see artwork on display as well as in CAM's digital gallery.

Marbles Kids Museum
Connect with Team Marbles in Daily Dose of Play videos spotlighting fun activities kids can do at home! Learn how to make your own playdough, build sensory bins or make music with household items. Also, check out Marbles-to-Go play activities, Play Posters and more online.

NC Museum of Natural Sciences and Nature Research Center
Check out the wealth of resources for Science at Home broken down by families, teens & adults, and educators. From outside activities ideas to a live Jellyfish cam to over 200 science talks, the NC Science Museum has something for everyone. You can even submit a question to a naturalist online.

North Carolina Museum of History
Experience History at Home digitally through a variety of NC Museum of History videos highlighting exhibits and behind-the-scenes details, Bit-of-History podcasts, at-home learning packets and more!

 

Performing Arts

Though remaining programs have been postponed until next season, Carolina Ballet is providing past performances online for all to enjoy, updated weekly. Support Carolina Ballet online here.

North Carolina Symphony
Listen to the music of the North Carolina Symphony through a digital broadcast of their Education Concert provided free of charge for all ages. Companion materials and resources are also available online. These free materials may be accessed at ncsymphony.org/virtual with password 1932.

North Carolina Theatre
Enjoy NC Theatre's QuaranTunes playlist on Spotify full of theatre favorites, rock, pop and dance hits to get you through the day. Also, follow NC Theatre on Instagram for Stars in the House video series.

PineCone - Piedmont Council of Traditional Music
PineCone is offering online music workshops every other week including two-finger banjo crash course and bluegrass mandolin workshop. Learn more and sign up on their website.

Theatre Raleigh
Theatre Raleigh is offering a full schedule of “virtual” theatre content for patrons and theatre-lovers of all ages. Tune in Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for new activities and performances to enjoy at home.

Other Virtual Experiences

Artspace
The arts organization has an array of online resources, from crafting activities, online classes, and history lessons. You can also sign up for their Ways to Engage E-Newsletter for regular updates.

Brovelli Cooking Classes
Tune into Brovelli Oils, Vinegars, & Gifts' cooking classes with Chef Jason to learn step-by-step instruction for creating new kitchen masterpieces. Classes every Tuesday at 12 pm and Fridays at 5 pm on their website.

DRINK
DRINK is hosting Virtual Tastings on Instagram Live every Monday and Thursday for the duration of the Stay-At-Home order (with the exception of May 14th). Their tastings are free, but they do suggest that customers pick up one or more bottles to taste along when they have a winemaker at the tasting.

Raleigh Wine Shop online class kitThe Raleigh Wine Shop Wine Classes
The Raleigh Wine Shop has launched online wine classes where you can join in virtually with one of their certified wine instructors who will their bring fun and educational wine class series right into your home! The class includes an at home kit with three cans of artisanal wine so you can smell and taste along the way. Learn more and sign up here.

S.P.A.R.K. at home with Kid Lab
Kid Lab, a non-profit and community art collective, has rolled out a S.P.A.R.K. (STEM, Play, Art, Reading and Writing, Kindness and Collaboration) series for activity ideas each day of the week. Geared toward children ages 10 and younger, the series offers a weekly video lesson, playful ideas, printable worksheets and more.

Wake County Public Libraries
Wake County has released "Storytime, Anytime" videos on their website to give families the fun of storytime again, even while the libraries are closed. Storytimes use talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing to help get children ready to read.

Wine & Design
Wine & Design is hosting virtual classes over Zoom with prices ranging from free to $15. You can use supplies you have at home or order ones from arts supply stores that they recommend. They are also doing free virtual art classes for kids for Easter. See details here.

The Wine Feed
The Wine Feed is hosting Instagram Live sessions on Wednesdays at 7pm as well as Virtual Classes through their website for you to learn about wine, meet winemakers, and more.
